Luckily she has been doing better! She doesn't completely open them all the way but enough to get her through kindergarten. We have a doctor's appt today so hopefully he will say they are perfect and we will never ever have to do anything like this again or any other sickness or surgery! (wishful thinking)
After the surgery they said she should be doing fine and might need some tylenol but only every 6 hours. Well--she wasn't exactly doing fine. She tried to be brave but I think her eyes were really hurting. Afterall--I don't think they would cut on both of my eyes and send me home with an occasional tylenol. She didn't end up even opening her eyes until late Saturday morning. We even watched the Hannah Montana Movie Friday night but she kept her eyes closed the entire time.
Chloe had to have eye surgery last Friday to correct her eyes from being slightly crossed. I had a really hard time wanting to do it because she had to be put completely out. The nurses at the hospital were so nice and the had this playroom to keep her busy until they were ready. Too bad they didn't have one for the parents so we weren't continually pacing!

That's so scary about surgery, especially on such a little girl! I remember being so scared, and I was an adult! She is so brave and darling.

Hope things continue to progress. What a trooper! Chloe and YOU!! I never thought being a mom would put me on such an emotional roller coaster!
Chloe is so darn cute! Russ told me at stake baptisms that she had to have surgery. I felt so bad. She's just so tiny. Poor thing. I'm glad that she is doing better. I bet that was so hard when you had to wait for your baby to finish her surgery. Sheesh! Glad to know all is well.
