Christmas (finally)

The line-up--youngest to oldest-- to see if Santa stopped by our house
After opening our family gifts we go over to Grammy and Grampy's for breakfast that is delicious--pancakes and chorizo w/egg burritos. Chloe's new tutu from the Weeches. After a long winter's nap (for Santa's helpers) we go back for an early dinner.
--the cousins table--
Then we head on over to the Oliver's where some of us pretend we are cologne models. After opening presents we have yummy desserts!
I love Christmas time even though I promise each year that I will get things done early so I will not be running around quite so crazy...and then it's Christmas and it is crazy and busy but I love it and I'm always a little sad when it is over. Only 11 1/2 months left until next year!!

Christmas Eve--still pretending

Ready for Santa to visit--they are on their best behavior!
I started making matching pajamas for Christmas Eve quite a few years ago when I only had 4 kids and they were quite small. A few years makes a huge difference--it doesn't go quite as fast as it use to...longer legs!! My kids are good sports though and actually wear them to make me feel good!
So excited for Christmas and all the magic it brings.

Our motto at our house is "if you don't believe you won't recieve"
It's a good thing everyone believes!

Just pretend....(cont.)

Christmas Eve is always so much fun at Grammy's house. I am finally done shopping-- we go over for pizza and then all the grandkids act out the nativity. My girls are always hoping it is their turn to be Mary.
Luckily for Cami it was her turn! It was Clay's turn for Joseph so the Oliver's were feeling pretty lucky!
--The whole cast--
Chloe giving loves to the narrator--Grampy. Grammy and Grampy always make it so nice for us to come over. They are such great examples of service and love for their family. Thanks Mom and Dad!
Chloe and Dailynd were angels. (best friends and only 5 days apart)

The shepherds waiting their turn
Wisemen--Afterwards we have a small talent show with each family performing. Our talent each year is to sing "The twelve days of Christmas" as fast as we possibly can. This year we even added actions!

Just pretend......it's Christmas!

I can't believe I am this behind--well yes I can...I love the Sunday before Christmas. I love when most of Sacrament meeting is music...it was incredible this year. It is nice to be able to sit and listen and not worry about everything I have left to do--for one day. I can always feel the spirit so strong on this Sunday.

Trying to match and be happy for lots of pictures! This is a more accurate picture of what goes on each and every picture!
