I forgot theThanksgiving play, Christmas plays and Temple lights!
Cutest Indian and small helper!
Cami was in a Thanksgiving play right before we left for Pinetop. She did a great job and Russ and I got to dress up as Pilgrims. It was quite fun!!
Carlee and Cami were also both in musical plays. Here's the great pictures!
Winter Formal
This was Chantz's first girl ask guy dance. He was asked by two different girls on the same day only 10 minutes apart. We decided he should go with whoever asked him first which came down to a technicality because Amanda's mom had called me in the morning to make sure Chantz hadn't been asked--so she technically asked first. Anyways.....they went on their day date to the zoo lights and out to eat. He had a lot of fun. Then on Saturday night, they went to Buca de peppo (I know I probably didn't spell that right!) and the dance. He had a lot of friends in the group they went with-- so it was a fun night!
Carlee's 9! (I know this is a little late)
Hard to believe that Carlee is 9 years old. She is such a sweet girl, always trying to help and caring about everyone's feelings. She is a great big sister and little sister and we are lucky she is our daughter! For her birthday this year--she invited a few friends to go ice-skating. There were eight girls including Cami and they did great. Carlee realized how tough she is when some of her friends wanted to stop skating after they got hurt (imagine that). Carlee, Cami, Ashley, and Faye skated until the very end. We had a great time!

Really really DIRTY!
It snowed all day Thursday and rained and snowed on Friday. Saturday it was sunny so we thought we would go on a quad-ride. I thought it might be pretty muddy from the melting snow but Russ assured me he didn't think it would be too bad--all I can say is once your dirty, you might as well enjoy it! We ended up doing a lot of laundry and throwing some things away (white socks and t-shirts will never be the same!!) We all agreed--it was quite the adventure!
Thanksgiving--(I know a little late)
We have started a tradition of renting a cabin in Pinetop and just going there as our own family. Each one of the kids gets to pick what they want to fix for dinner. Clay always tries to get the potatoes so that he doesn't have to eat them and won't hurt anyones feelings! This year was really great because we woke up on Thanksgiving morning and it was snowing! It was pretty close to being perfect. We had a great day just relaxing--watching the Macy's parade and eating dinner pretty late. Then we went for a very cold walk but it helped us make room in our stomachs for more eating--pretty much a perfect day!!
