Chelsey's 18

Well, we are now old enough to have an adult for a daughter (I know, hard to believe!) She got to choose a restaurant (Cheesecake Factory) and just Russ and I took her out for dinner--don't worry the rest of the family got pigs in a blanket (lucky them!) We had a great time and it was a little different the usual --just us adults!!

R-E-S-P-E-C-T

Okay--one more update, Clay was chosen from about 250 students to give a speech at academic night (you get to attend if you had all A's and only 1 B all year). It had to be on respect. Unfortunately, he forgot to tell me about it until 10pm Sunday night and he had to give it Monday. I felt like I was in high school again with a big project due. I worked on it while he was at school and then we went over it when he got home. He did a great job and received a lot of compliments. Luckily, he does well under pressure!! (Clay with the principal of Highland Park.)

Chantz is 16!!!

Well, about a month ago---

That's right--he is officially driving and dating and lovin' the freedom!! We found a little used Nissan Sentra Special Edition that gets great gas mileage. 2 teenager drivers= no money!!

PROM 2008

I know I'm starting a little behind but I wanted to update a bit--

Chelsey and Chantz both went to prom and had a great time! Chelsey was in a group that rented a limo and went all out. Her date is Brandon and she has been friends with him for a very long time. She had so much fun!! Chantz went with Jamie Lunt who is a senior(he's into older women!!) He was in a group of 13 couples and had a formal dinner at one of their homes. A lot of work--but had a blast!!
