I forgot to mention--we did get to do one fun thing during the break--we went Ice-Skating! I was amazed at how easy my kids made it look and it was the first time for a lot of them. I don't remember it being that easy when I was younger and I didn't really want to try it again now that I'm older (and hopefully wiser!) By the end of the night, they were trying to do spins and look like the ice-skaters on the olympics--Cami was trying to lift one leg and skate, while Cassie and Carlee were attempting to spin continuously. Chantz and Clay were just trying to go as fast as possible and not wipe out. Chelsey had a dress on since she came straight from work. She assured me she didn't usually fall so who am I to say she can't skate in a dress. She did really well until almost the end of the night--and then just a quick fall (did I mention she was wearing a dress!) It was pretty funny! I can honestly say--I was impressed (and not just because they are my kids!) We did have alot of bruises and blisters but I think everyone had a great time!

FALL BREAK
We didn't really get to go anywhere during fall break because it's a little difficult to drag Russ's IV pole around--but we tried to make up for it by doing lots of fun things--like cleaning walls, baseboards, and everything single thing in our house that was covered with thick dust from our "small" travertine fix. It was a lot more time consuming and involved than we expected but the kids were troopers and helped get everything back to "normal". It was a fun time (to say the least!)
Chloe--is she four already?!!
Well, our baby turned four and we can't believe it--time is flying by so quickly. We just had a family party at Grammy's and her and Dailynd opened presents together. They are so much fun and the cutest four-year olds around. She wanted a princess cake but couldn't decide which princess so I tried to put all of them on the cake! Monday, we went out to eat for her birthday to Gecko Grill which was Chloe's pick (after some careful hinting!!)

Oh yeah--one more thing--
Cassie's famous!! She was on the news (Channel 3) when they came to the high school. You have to look pretty close because you can only see her head when they are talking to the Harley Davidson guy. We are pretty excited to have someone actually make it on TV!! (you have to watch the commercial first)

Up next--Homecoming!!
Chantz took Candace to Homecoming and had a great time--(I know, hard to believe he's old enough to be doing this!) They went quad-riding to four peaks for their day date and had dinner at the top (after, of course, many many safety talks). It looks like they had a lot of fun and Chantz said it was a little cold at the top--hard to imagine. Then for Homecoming they had dinner at his friends house and came over to our house for dessert. Chantz said it was a great date and had a lot of fun!!
What's been happenin' --

I know this is a little bit late--but I'll try to update as much as possible. Russ is still working on getting his strength back but otherwise is doing great! He feels like he is constantly hooked up to an iv but it's almost been 3 weeks (out of 8) Time is flying!
Chloe is officially a two-wheel bike rider!! She was really easy to teach which was a good thing since I was the one that was going to be running beside her! I think I only had to do it once and then she was off. We really haven't been able to catch up with her since!!
Clay went on his first over-night with the Scouts. He had a great time and enjoyed yummy dehydrated food! He said it actually tasted pretty good and was easy to prepare so he could spend more time doing whatever Scouts do!!
