Valentine's Day

Home-made valentines--the best kind!
We have a tradition on Valentine's Day to make homemade valentines for each member of the family and then we doorbell ditch each valentine that night. Now that everyone is old enough to do it--it is a lot of doorbell ditching!! We have a lot of fun trying not to get caught--but I must admit...it's pretty crazy!

Candace made Chantz these cookies for Valentines--unfortunately for him, they left to go on a date and when he got back --the plate didn't quite look the same! (mainly because quite of few of the yummy cookies were gone!!) Thanks Candace--from the whole family!
Double dates--the best kind!

MORP

Oops--wrong order...Candace asked Chantz to Morp by giving him sticks of butter through-out the day at school. He got called into the office and was worried and they just handed him a stick of butter. In other classes a stick of butter was just waiting where he usually sat. Then--he got the sign and all these popcorn kernals. Clay helped him go through them looking for the letters to her name.

Great idea!!

Family Night Fun!!

WE had a great time out at the desert! We went with a few families from our ward and had so much fun. You didn't really even notice the rain once you had a beanie on!!
Luckily--someone knew how to build a great fire that would keep going even in the rain
Fun toys for everyone!

Dinner is always so much better when your cold and hungry!

February updates--

Chloe had a princess birthday party to go to and was so excited!
Friday night crew eating their favorite dinner--mini corndogs and chicken nuggets. Clay can hardly wait until he is 14 and not the permanent babysitter--he does do a great job though!

First Daddy-daughter dance at the school. Carlee and Cami had the most handsome date and they really had a great time dancing!!

Russ and I celebrated our 20th anniversary!! (more to come)--it is pretty ironic how much we think a like. We decided not to do anything expensive this year and we both went out and got each other the same gift--hand-picked chocolates from SEE's. Luckily we weren't there at the same time! One more reason I love him so much--all my favorite chocolates!!

January Happenin's

One of Clay's last wrestling matches--He pinned the guy!!
Clay was undefeated in the regular season!

Carlee was invited to a special luncheon with the principal of her school. They pick one student from each grade level--so we were pretty proud of her considering there is about 120 third grade students!
We love Carlee!
Cassie is finishing up the basketball season. It is very fun to
watch the games because the team is so great!!
