We decided at the last minute to go to San Diego for Spring Break.  I am not usually a last minute planner but I thought this would be a great break for our family and I'm so glad we went.  We just went for a couple of days--First stop....the BEACH!  I love the beach and would live there  if I could.  It wasn't very crowded because it was pretty cold.  Some members of our family are extremely brave and don't really care about it being freezing and others....well let's just say we were happy to stick our feet in!

Clay had a wet suit and Cami didn't!
Chloe building her part of the sand castle  "community"
Cassie had cheer nationals coming up so everyone decided to practice their "toe touches"

It was beautiful!
Good thing we have some "brave " people who don't mind the freezing water
The above mentioned "brave" person trying to get warm!

Beautiful sunset
We stopped by the San Diego Temple and walked around the beautiful temple grounds.  I love how this temple sits on the hill and you see it as you are driving on the freeway
On our second day we went to Sea World.  We haven't been there since I was pregnant with Clay and we were building our house (almost 16 years!)  It was fun and interesting but we all decided it wasn't someplace you had to visit on a regular basis.  On the last day we slept in (all of us!) and then did some quick outlet shopping and headed home.  It was such a great trip and just what we needed to make it through the rest of the school year.  We did miss Chelsey and Chantz terribly and it felt a little strange to only have 7 of us.  Hopefully that doesn't happen too often!
(you can tell I haven't blogged in a while and I'm not sure I like the new set-up!)

I'm one of those woos-y people who freeze to death in cold water! Ha!
