Still Christmas!

I'm already getting behind--Another Christmas tradition (and project) is matching Christmas pajamas. I know it would be easier and cheaper to buy them but then they wouldn't match as nicely and my kids are so good about being excited about them! (Thanks for making me feel good!) I also wanted to get all matching stockings but the older 4 wouldn't hear of it. They said they've had those stockings since the beginning and they didn't want to change. So....my piece of advice--when buying stockings for your first couple of kids--make sure to get extras!

Christmas morning comes pretty early. We usually don't get to bed until very very late so we make the kids sleep in until 7. Then we line them up according to age and let them see what Santa brought those who believe! Clay was lucky he still believes and got a snowboard!

We have a tradition to buy our family gifts at the dollar store. I put Russ in charge of this one thing at Christmas time and he does a great job. He takes all the kids to the dollar store and they pick out presents for each other. It is so cute to see what treasures they find --great sunglasses!

Then we go to Grampy and Grammy's for a delicious breakfast of chorizo w/egg burritos and blueberry pancakes. It is delicious! Russ "resting his eyes" before breakfast!
