Spring Break--one extreme to another

We started our spring break off in Pine at the Oliver's cabin for a couple of days. It was beautiful weather and nice to get away. We went up to Forest Hills and met Stephanie and her family for some sledding. The snow was so deep! It was very very cold (or maybe I'm just a baby)!
Ashley and Carlee sitting on top of the fence--the snow was so deep!
Cassie and Lizzie taking a breather
At the bottom of the hill--Dailynd, Russ and Chloe
I think the sleds are suppose to be under you--what do we know...we live in Arizona!
Cassie showing how hard it was to walk out to the hill--you would sink on every other step
Cami always flew down the hill--what a surprise!
After the day in the snow we spent the next day quad-riding in the nice sunshine--a lot warmer! Nothing wrong with a little dirt on your face after quading
We are so lucky the Olivers share their cabin with us. It is perfect for quick get-a-ways out of our everyday life!
We got home (it's only an 1 1/2 hour drive) and our neighbors had decided to heat their pool. We hurried and put on our swimsuits and headed over. The girls had a great time but Russ and I and the teenagers can probably wait as long as possible to start swimmin' again since we do it almost 7 months out of the year!
Chelsey didn't get to go on our little trip because she works for an accountant and it's tax season. Luckily for her--a couple of her friends went on a road-trip to California over the weekend and she had a great time.
It is always so hard for me to want to go back to the schedule of school and not having the kids around after such a great break! Luckily for me--it's almost SUMMER!!

I've said it before, and I'll say it again...the Olivers are the CUTEST!

your family knows how to have fun together. we just finished our spring break, but it wasn't nearly as warm (or as cold) as yours. loved sleeping in, but with 3 still home I was happy to send the other 2 off this morning. :)
